Wow!! Where has this been all my life?! I can’t begin to even explain how I felt today using this amazing thing! First off. I have long blonde hair I have been bleaching my hair for a few years now, (only my regrowth) nevertheless my hair is still dry. I’ve had to use serums, blow dry Protestants, oils, masks, you name it! And I haven’t been able to curl my hair in a while, In fear of the damage it does and has done in the past. So I get this today as an early birthday gift and I’m so thrilled I immediately go wash and condition my hair. I even used a little less than normal conditioner as I wanted to see how this would work. I towel dry my hair and I brush it out with my trusty paddle brush. Never in my life have I had such soft, SHINY, straight dried hair in a matter of Minutes! Minutes! I have nearly 2 full heads of hair! I can’t believe how quiet it is, how cool it felt compared to my old blow dryer! I was and still am utterly speechless! This is life changing for me! It took my hair and made it better! I was nearly in tears! I’m not kidding! No I’m not a paid reviewer. I am a mom, wife, and a gardener whose always outside. My hair is always messy and pulled up during the summer. I felt like I just left the salon! Like they did some hair magic on me and you don’t want to wash it for a few days because it feels so good?!!? THIS! Just wow! I hope this helps anyone on the fence. I couldn’t find much reviews for platinum blondes or platinum blondes with long dry hair. I will share some photos. Unbelievably amazing. Well done Dyson!

Updated edit: I am now able to curl my hair in 15 minutes, straighten in 20 minutes. There is a learning curve and I love it more each day. Cons would be the box is huge to store, and Im not quite sure how to travel with it when its so big! WOW. I am terrible at doing my own hair. I almost never do it because its time consuming and hard with a curling iron. The airwrap was so easy! I timed myself, and my first attempt took me 24 minutes from damp to fully curled. The very curly picture is before brushing the curls out. The looser curls were on day 3. I used a curl gel and a soft hair spray. This is a great tool for beginners.

I had been considering the Dyson air wrap for a good 3 months before finally deciding that it would be my mother's day present. I received it yesterday. First, I got the complete edition with all of the attachments. What you are going to get is the primary wand, and attachment for rough drying your hair to get it to a damp status, two flat smoothing brushes, one stronger than the other, a round brush attachment for volume, and the four attachments that create loose natural curls or waves in your hair. Two are smaller, and two of those are larger. They come with directional arrows so that you can select the right attachment depending on if you want to curl your hair back away from your face, or curl it towards your face. I have yet to try the round brush attachment or the straightening attachment, but if the wand attachment is any indication, I am going to love this. it does not take me anymore or less time than using my ceramic round brushes and my Dyson hair dryer, so the investment in time was about the same. For reference, I used the larger of the curling wands and not the smaller one. I've always been a fan of the Dyson products generally, and when I switch to the Dyson hair dryer and a really good ceramic round brush, the condition of my hair went from dry to healthy and gorgeous. I can tell already that the air wrap is going to continue that. It's a way to get the style without the damage. I'll attach a picture of it here, taking about 2 hours after styling. If the style has not held throughout the day, I will update my review with a picture later.

My hubby got me the complete Dyson air wrap for Christmas! I was excited to use a better styling tool to keep my hair healthy and frizz free. I saw a few videos on YouTube to get an idea an tips. They helped, but best way is to just take some time after you wash your hair and try it. My hair is long, thick and natural wave and can get frizzy if not dried all the way or in humidity. I really had to use small sections at a time and start from tip to wrap the hair and roll up. I have a lot of hair my hair began to dry in the front around my face and get wavy. So I had to dampen my hair a bit until I could get to the other side or switch barrels. It took me some time but I liked that it dry my hair and I used the dryer tool and bigger Curling barrels. Ill continue practicing and update my review about the other attachments. You can see the pictures of the first attempt. The case it comes in is nice but big. I will need a place to put it or buy a wall rack to store it for easy access and set up. Update- after months of practice, I really like it. I use it to dry my hair and smooth it with brush attachments and then use curler barrels. Your hair doesnt have to be too damp to curl. I do think you need to add a heat protectant to hair especially at the tips.
