r dryer. I like the dryer because it works quickly, but I like the styler more. If I had it to do again, I'd buy only the styler. I've gotten keratin treatments that have fried my hair, and I've paid $100 for blowouts to straighten my thick, coarse hair. Tonight, for the first time, I washed and conditioned as usual, took a first pass at drying with the Dyson dryer (which I think I could have just used the drying attachment on the styler), and then finished drying with the styler using one of the brush attachments. Then I finished it with the roller brush attachment on my ends. The whole process took 10-12 minutes and my hair looks shiny and super smooth. Almost as good as a $100 blow out, and this was my first attempt. I am sure I'll do a better job next time. Bottom line: Styler beats the dryer for smooth hair with curled ends. I did not try the attachments to create waves.
