ve never been able to put a nice curl in my hair before. You definitely want to do smaller vertical sections to get the whole length to curl or you can just buff the bottom foot of your hair with waves or big curls. It looks amazing. My husband even thought it was worth it. When I am curling and I want to release my hair I turn off the Dyson and unwind the curl. A lot of the videos you watch show people just pulling the Dyson out with the suction still on. This pulls the curl out. Do not do that. Turn it off - unwind - be happy!!!! XXXOOO!!!! Show Less

r last week. It looked so easy the way the air automatically curled your hair around the wand. I had to try it for myself. I am not one who can do my hair at all at home with the round brush or even close to how they do it at the salon. Let me tell you -this product is amazing. I cannot believe the ease of use. It makes my hair look so healthy with body - like I just walked out of the salon. Worth every penny. Show Less

r dryer. I like the dryer because it works quickly, but I like the styler more. If I had it to do again, I'd buy only the styler.
I've gotten keratin treatments that have fried my hair, and I've paid $100 for blowouts to straighten my thick, coarse hair. Tonight, for the first time, I washed and conditioned as usual, took a first pass at drying with the Dyson dryer (which I think I could have just used the drying attachment on the styler), and then finished drying with the styler using one of the brush attachments. Then I finished it with the roller brush attachment on my ends. The whole process took 10-12 minutes and my hair looks shiny and super smooth. Almost as good as a $100 blow out, and this was my first attempt. I am sure I'll do a better job next time.
Bottom line: Styler beats the dryer for smooth hair with curled ends. I did not try the attachments to create waves. Show Less
